RaderCo - Weekender Snapshot

Whoa, WHAT a two-week rollercoaster!

The high: The Reclaim Your Workday launch blew WAY past my expectations! I spent my launch day engaging on LinkedIn, emailing folks about the book, hosting an Ask the Author session, and obsessively checking stats.

My favorite part?

Reading your reviews! Seeing people highlight specific tactics they’ll apply is incredibly rewarding. The photos and videos are so fun I added them to the bottom of our home page—check them out at reclaimyourworkday.com!

The 99-cent Kindle offer is still live for a limited time—no cost barrier to grabbing a copy or more! The audiobook is available on multiple platforms, though Audible and Spotify are taking their sweet time. Please keep checking if you’re waiting on those!

The low: The flu hit me hard a couple of days later. A weekend on the couch meant missing three concerts I had tickets for (ouch).

My unplanned downtime underlines why a GREAT out-of-office message is a must. I talk about this in Reclaim Your Workday—adding links to FAQs, scheduling, and key resources saves you and others valuable time.

My autoresponder always includes links to:

Could your out-of-office be working harder for YOU?

What’s next?

With federal and corporate shifts in return-to-office policies, I’m launching a 4-part podcast series: Navigating the Return to Work. The first episode drops next week—stay tuned!

When you get this, I’ll still be on light duty and ready to see people in real life again.

On with the Weekender!

PRODUCTIVITY POWER TIP

Ever had a ghost from your past haunt your feed?

It took years for LinkedIn to stop suggesting my deceased grandpa as a contact. Without a death certificate, I couldn’t get it removed—and every time it popped up, it caught me off guard.

If you're on Facebook, you have more control. You can hide specific people and timeframes or turn off 'memories' entirely at facebook.com/memories. A quick setting change can spare you from unexpected emotional gut punches and stress.
