RaderCo - Weekender Snapshot

Reflections, Connections, and Giving Back.

I love the end of a quarter because reflection is my jam. I do it daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually, but my quarterly deep dives with three friends and my husband are next-level. At the lake house with RaderCo Marketing Specialist Lisa, we walk, eat delicious food, and always leave with at least one big aha. This time? We revamped email templates after automating coaching workflows and realized we were holding back great follow-up content for people who download our Go-To Guides.

Want a framework for your reflection & planning? The Powered Path Program™ (and Playbook) has you covered.

I also wrapped up five sessions with an ADHD coach who specializes in conflict resolution to help me better support neurodivergent family members and friends. Yes, you can see a therapist or coach to learn how to help others, not just yourself!

Hot tip: If you have ADHD or love someone who does, see a therapist, social worker, or coach skilled in it. As Dr. Kay De Simone says, “you’re not paying to train your therapist.” This has been relationship-changing. Want her name? Just reply.

I had coffee with Geraud Stauton (coach + NLP practitioner) to mentor him on the speaking world. We talked about how to process info overload from the upcoming National Speakers Association Conference. If your post-conference action list is still gathering dust six months later, listen to my episode on how to Optimize Conferences. (16-min)

Has your team rolled out Copilot but left you hanging with training? Our Software Specialist just trained Executive and Admin Assistants at a biotech company on what to focus on—and more importantly, what to ignore (still lots of bugs!).

Lastly, I am SO excited! The Work Meaningful Foundation has fully commissioned the school in Akyremade, Ghana. We can now safely enroll 450 students (up from 263!) from the village. Thank you to everyone who donated. We also received the Art Berg Grant to help fund a technology lab accessible to students and the community.

When you get this, I'll be presenting to Urban Design Partners to help them Reclaim Their Workday so they can focus on creativity!

On with the Weekender!

PRODUCTIVITY POWER TIP

Host a Video Meeting and Have People Pay Attention

Can you run a video meeting where people actually pay attention? Yes! In under two minutes, I show you how. If you catch yourself multitasking, scoot back from your keyboard so you can’t type, and grab a notepad and pencil or a fidget toy to keep your hands busy. (2-min)

RADER-WORTHY READ

Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End by Dr. Atul Gawande

This should be required reading for anyone with a pulse. Gawande shows how we’ve medicalized death, prioritizing longevity over quality of life, often at the cost of comfort, autonomy, and joy. One big takeaway: If someone I love has a terminal illness, they can eat whatever they want. A milkshake every day for my father-in-law with Alzheimer's? Absolutely. This book reshaped how I think about aging, illness, and dying well. Compassionate, practical, unforgettable.

RADER-FAVORITE

Clearspace App

Mindlessly opening Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook? Doomscrolling in bed and waking up wired? Try Clearspace. This app adds a thoughtful pause before you open social media, prompting you to do push-ups, squats, take steps, or take deep breaths first. After just three weeks, my husband feels calmer and is scrolling less.

P.S. Already booking for 2026! Want your team to reclaim their workday and boost focus? Let’s talk dates.

Masterminds, Muscles, and Mystery Finds in the Garage I love having a virtual studio to balance out travel and home life, but nothing beats sitting across from a client in person. Last week, I met with two stars for intensives in South Carolina and Georgia. One powerful takeaway—could you be leading so loudly (think Siri or Alexa, always ready with an answer) that you’re actually disempowering your team? Another highlight was our quarterly mastermind retreat for Speakers With Impact...

My heartfelt, lesson-earned true story was chosen for a book that helps support others. I wanted to share a deeply personal story that's a little surreal. It’s featured in a new book called Speechless!, which includes 28 true stories from professional speakers around the world. My story? It’s about the time I delivered a virtual productivity training… From a nursing home With a surprise ragtime soundtrack While visiting my mother-in-law in hospice. It wasn’t professional. It wasn’t ideal. But...

My Happy Place, Recharged! The National Speakers Association Influence conference in Scottsdale is my professional RESET button. Five days with 900 other speakers—learning, laughing, crying, dancing—and filling my brain and heart so I can bring even more value to you. I drink my own Kool-Aid by following the strategies in my Optimize Conferences podcast episode: take breaks, process notes daily, and walk away with just three actions. A dedicated Design Day in late August to explore AI tools -...
