RaderCo - Weekender Snapshot

My Little Free Library is finally ready to launch, and I’m ridiculously excited.
My handy husband has spent the last month building it, and this weekend we’ll officially open it up to the neighborhood. It’s one of my Top Three personal priorities for the year, so this one feels extra good.
To celebrate, I hosted a Books & Banter party with six girlfriends. Everyone brought one book to swap and one to donate, and we answered two questions: What was a pivotal book you read as a child?What’s one book you think everyone should read? It was simple, cozy, and so much fun. I’m already planning to do more of these with different small groups each time.
Then it was off to Atlanta, where I spoke for CPAmerica and 33 HR leaders in the accounting industry about how to Reclaim Your Workday.
As usual, HR leaders showed up engaged and honest. Big ahas included protecting their time instead of being available at all hours, using Loom for training, and noticing how often they attend meetings as spectators instead of players.
And in the long TSA line on my way home, I started voice-recording every inefficiency I could see and the workplace parallels that came with it. That turned into a time-sensitive podcast episode that went live on Tuesday.

RaderCo Marketing Specialist and bestie Lisa and I had one of my favorite quarterly rituals: reflections and prioritization. Q1 reflections happened while we walked. Q2 prioritization and planning happened over Yemeni coffee and cheesecake. I do this every quarter with four different people using my Powered Path Playbook, and it’s one of the best ways I know to pause on purpose before the next season starts running.
One Lesson Earned: Buy rock salt well in advance of any storm.

One Big Win: Getting all 5-star ratings in my Vistage workshop.

When you get this, I’ll be doing round two of reflections with my friend Wendy over more coffee, a phone-walkie reflection session with my friend Lilly on Saturday, and wrapping up the quarter with my husband on Sunday as we map out house projects, travel, and more for Q2.
