RaderCo is Reclaiming Workdays!
Urban Design Partners are Reclaiming Their Workday!
I’ve been in full speaking mode, helping over 800 accountants reclaim focus and manage remote work without feeling overwhelmed. Meanwhile, our Software Specialist, Dawn Bjork, led a brilliant session training Executive and Administrative Assistants at a biotech company on how to actually use Microsoft Copilot.
I say actually because let’s be honest, AI still has a ways to go.
When companies roll out new software, you must provide training. Don’t expect your team to cobble it together from YouTube.
Ignore the shiny features that are still buggy. Dawn focused on what works right now and how to get value today, without wasting time or trust. AI isn’t magic. Sometimes, using your own brain is still faster.
Want to see an example of AI gone seriously wrong for me? Take a look at this LinkedIn post and see that AI has some serious biases. Creeptacular!
On the volunteer side, I’ve been dipping my toes into committee interest meetings for the National Speakers Association Carolinas chapter. I’m very intentional about how I spend my time - if I commit, I’m fully invested. That got me thinking… are YOU on a board or in a group where you’ve quietly become a spectator?
This is your nudge to recommit or step down with grace. Don’t just be a body taking up space.
Thanks, Amy! Always exciting to learn what is Working Well for our RaderCo Community!
Kevin and I celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary with dinner at the award-winning Tamasha Modern Indian restaurant and a night of laughing so hard my cheeks hurt the next day - watching Nate Bargatze perform at a local venue. Our ice cream tradition continues: Ben & Jerry’s, our first-date dessert, enjoyed every month on the 19th for 32 years-yes, that’s 324 months straight!
324 months and counting....
The heat kept us indoors, so we finished Squid Game (intense) and Apple Cider Vinegar (equally disturbing, but for different reasons). My views on the wellness industry wildly changed after reading The Gospel of Wellnessby journalist Rina Raphael. If you haven't picked it up, I highly recommend it. Both my friend Amanda Chay and I edited sections in our books after reading Raphael's eye-opening bestseller.
When you get this, I’ll be wheels-up to the National Speakers Association conference in Scottsdale, Arizona (...because the surface of the sun was already booked?) Five full days of learning, keynotes, breakouts, karaoke, and (you better believe it) dancing until they kick us off the floor. Chance of finding sequins, leather, and glitter in my travel bag?#100%
Popping in and out. Working on laptops. Leaders dropping by "just to say hi."
It's time to STOP. These distractions hijack focus and kill the ROI of in-person learning. In this episode, I share the dos and don'ts of in-person trainings - for leaders and participants - so you can ALL get exactly what you paid for.
In Gmail, go to More > Manage Subscriptions and see everything you're subscribed to, and then? Unsubscribe ruthlessly in seconds. Eliminate the daily micro-decisions and keep only what adds value (like this gem in today's Weekender - right?).

Show up fully — or don’t show up at all. In-person trainings are powerful — but only if you respect them. When leaders pop in "just to say hi," or participants check email mid-session, it quietly undermines the entire investment. In this podcast, I share my top dos and don’ts for in-person trainings so your team gets every dollar of value — and every ounce of impact. Learn: The biggest ways we sabotage learning How to model focus & presence Why post-training time is a non-negotiable Listen...
When the universe shouts, you listen. In the last week, several people told me that they binge-listened to my podcast and needed more. So....hiatus over! To celebrate 12 years in business, I’m sharing 12 lessons earned — not learned. Because anyone can read new information from a book. Earned means you’ve got the bruises to prove it. A few highlights: JOO - The joy of opting out (goodbye, social media rabbit holes) Why asking business questions to people who failed might save you thousands of...
Reflections, Connections, and Giving Back. I love the end of a quarter because reflection is my jam. I do it daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually, but my quarterly deep dives with three friends and my husband are next-level. At the lake house with RaderCo Marketing Specialist Lisa, we walk, eat delicious food, and always leave with at least one big aha. This time? We revamped email templates after automating coaching workflows and realized we were holding back great follow-up...
